Community Garden Buddies In Page County, VA!

Raise of hands - who enjoys weeding the garden? Not many of us love pulling weeds but we know the “buggers” will take over your garden in a hot second. If we worked together, maybe taking on one bed at a time, the chore of maintaining a garden may not be that bad.

That’s why the Community Gardens in Luray, Stanley and Shenandoah are looking for a little help. These gardens are prepped and planted by volunteers and could use a buddy to help weed, harvest and manage the space throughout the season.

Your payoff is once the garden crop is ready for picking, the “bounty” is available FREE to anyone and everyone in community!

Oh yeah and you get a t-shirt for your efforts with hopes you will wear it around and encourage more garden buddies to join the fresh food crew.
