Daughter of the Stars Farmers Market (DOTS) non-profit corporation located in Page County, VA. The market recently expanded from operating twice a month to opening every Saturday during the growing season, May and October. The market’s mission is to promote health and wellness in all domains (physical, emotional, creative, environmental, financial, occupational, intellectual, social, and spiritual) through expanding access to locally sourced/produced goods and by connecting opportunities. 

“Daughter of the Stars” is a Native American legend describing the creation of the Shenandoah River and Valley as the place where “the morning stars placed the brightest jewels from their crowns in the river.”

Market Locations and Dates

Daughter of the Stars Farmers Market is held every Saturday 9am-2pm with alternating locations for the purpose improving access by better connecting to local neighborhoods in each area of the county.

NEW LOCATION Blue DOTS Days are locations in Downtown Luray at 56 East Main Street - gravel lot across from Luray Town Office

Green DOTS Days are locations in Shenandoah at Big Gem Park - 736 Fourth Street

NEW- On the 5th Saturdays (June 29th & August 31st) the market will be at Wisteria Vineyard in Stanley - 1126 Marksville Road

SNAP LOCATION!

Coming Soon . . . DOTS will soon be a location for SNAP/EBT and Virginia FRESH Match participants. Use SNAP benefits to buy: “fruits and vegetables; meat, poultry, and fish; dairy products; breads and cereals; other snack foods; seeds and plants.”
